• USA Cares Emergency Assistance Program - Sometimes, it can be tough to manage finances from month to month. The USA Cares Emergency Assistance Program helps veterans get the financial help they need in tough situations. This money is a grant, and does not have to be paid back.

• The American Legion Temporary Financial Assistance - This program was created to help families who have children under the age of 18 manage food, utilities, housing, and medical needs. The Legion works to help veterans and their families create stable home lives for their children.

• Operation Family Fund - This program is specifically for veterans who have severe disabilities as a result of their service in Operation Enduring and Iraqi Freedom. Funds are available to severely disabled veterans for housing, vehicle repair, emergency transportation, and medical bills.

• Coalition to Salute America's Heroes - Developed to support the financial needs of veterans who served in Afghanistan and Iraq, Coalition to Salute America's Heroes helps veterans who are going through severe financial hardship.
